on our best clothes,
our
Sunday clothes
and ventured out
beyond
our comfort zone.
we tried to fit in.
we wanted
more than what was
given
to us.
we wandered across
the other side
of the tracks.
we wanted what
they had,
but learned that it
wasn't all
that.
we came back.
