sleep
together, watch tv
together.
we take walks together,
read the same books,
enjoy the same
friends,
the same jokes,
we wake up at the same
time
and read the paper,
drink coffee together.
we have matching rings
to celebrate
our marriage,
but in our minds we're
on different planets,
a million miles apart
and whirling.
