you think ahead.
you don't just leave
the house
willy nilly.
you have a plan for
the day.
the post office,
the coffee shop
Safeway.
you get a prescription
filled at Kaiser.
maybe a walk to the lake
with an old
loaf of bread
to feed the ducks.
