if a scorpion stings me,

turn it into

a love affair gone wrong.
it represents betrayal.
a puddle
stepped in
is a sign of a world
spinning
out of control.
a shoelace that breaks,
or a coffee spill
on a clean white shirt,
means
i'm doomed, I can't a lucky
break in this
long hard life.
it's insane to think this
way
all day long.
it's crazy town on many
levels.
but i'm at the station now,
with a ticket
in hand,
ready to head on out.
