the minister ends the eulogy
by saying,
well,
we loved her,
she'll be missed, but
it is what it is.
i happen to have a rotten
tomato
in my pocket
and throw it at him.

he takes out

juice away,

we should all stop
saying
that stupid, ridiculous,
lame phrase,
it is what it is
and say nothing, or find
the right words
to express what we truly
feel.
