day thinking about
making amends
for a wrong you did,
harsh words.
angered actions, not like you,
you tell yourself,
but not persuaded.
you think of apologies,
flowers or a card,
to give,
gifts, or reaching out
to say you're sorry, but by the end
of the day, you're too tired
to do anything.
so you go to sleep,
and in the morning everything
has changed.
you've moved on.
it's all okay.
