give me a reason

everyone

has at least one cause

that they

base their vote on.

abortion,

immigration,

transgender rights.

gay or

lesbian.

for some it's inflation,

the cost of gas

and meat,

the climate, 

the cold and heat.

for others it's

just red on down the line,

or blue

straight through,

with little

knowledge

of who they're voting for.

but in the end,

there's hardly

a ripple of change,

for the better or worse,

from the beginning of

time,

until the end.
