in school revealed what
you were good at,
what you excelled in,
or failed.
math,
biology.
social sciences.
all interesting and fine,
but
in the long run
you'd leave
most of them behind.
what you were best at
was daydreaming,
staring out the window
thinking of words
strung together,
some
that even rhymed.
