i'd throw it in the cart
and move on
to the next row
of processed goods.
but now,
i'm sherlock holmes
with a magnifying glass,
looking for
a clue
hiding in the small print.
how much sugar,
how many carbs,
if i can't pronounce
a word, i detect that
it's probably
not good for you.
