we don't see eye to eye

anymore,

it's not like 

it to used to be when

we were young

and dumb,

and drinking.

rarely did we disagree,

but we've aged now,

sober

and smarter,

more read,

more wise. we're actually

using our brains now

not for chasing skirts

and money, but

for rational

debate

and thinking.
