intensive care

i like the idea of intensive
care.

people monitoring your vital
signs,

checking in from time to time,
to see if you're

still ticking.
bringing you jello.

tucking you in.
there's another bouquet

of flowers by your side.

of course,
if you're in a real hospital,

like Sibley or Walter Reed

it's not a good place to be,
it means

there's something seriously
wrong with you,

you may die,

but the idea of people caring
so much,

intensively caring.
who doesn't want that?
