beware
of their glow,
their kindness, the nectar
of them.
none of it is real,
or earned.
beware of the words that leave
their mouth.
the twinkle in their eye.
they haven't worked
yet for what the rest of have.
and they want it
badly.
you'll never be more lonely,
if you let one
into your life.
