wrapped in scarves,
screaming,
yelling,
supporting the likes
of Hammas.
how much i wanted to go
to a school
like Columbia,
to be taught how to write,
what to read,
the literature
of the world taught
by scholars.
what gratitude and pride
i would have
had,
with little time
to vandalize and set
the world
on fire.
