my arm, or leg my
dog
had a favorite
bone.
an indestructible
rubber
bone
that he slept with in
his round
pillow like
bed.
sometimes he'd
take it
outside with him
and bury it in
the yard,
in a pile of wet dirt.
eventually
i'd fetch it for him
and wash it off,
which made him
smirk.
