that you would change
after spending one hour
in jail.
from that point on you'd
do whatever it took
to never go back.
you'd turn over a new leaf.
you'd be rehabilitated
just by fear,
by the bars, the hard
bed, the hard people
inside.
but it doesn't work that way.
you are who you are,
just more careful now
to not get caught.
