bad luck?

it doesn't seem

to add up.

there are so many jobs

available

and yet

there are so many people

sleeping

in tents under the bridge

looking for handouts.

what's going on here?

is it laziness,

pride,

unskilled on any level,

mental illness?

has our educational

system failed us,

has our society let us

down?

is the government

to blame?

bad luck?

are all our lives an inch

away

from going down

that drain?
