we seem to be,
to get from one place to
another.
running red lights.
speeding,
recklessly
endangering our lives,
each car
should have a siren now,
with flashing
lights
and a megaphone
telling
all others
to get the hell out
of the way,
i have to get home
to walk
my dog,
to sit on
the couch and watch
tv for the rest
of the night.
