a giant pretzel on
the corner
of Broadway, i buy
a Rolex watch in times square.
of course it's not real,
how could a sixty thousand dollar watch
only cost
a hundred dollars.
but it keeps good time,
if i shake it enough
and when the sun hits it
just right,
it has a blinding shine.
