used to seek advice and wisdom
from older
people.
sitting down beside
them
to hear about life
and love,
death.
listening to the stories,
getting a glimpse
of what may
lie ahead.
now they honk the horn
to get them
out of the way, what
is there to gain
by wasting time
with the almost dead?
