with this cold rain
coming down
it's a good day to stay home.a good day
for a good book,
to lie in bed,
put the tv on low.
maybe call betty when the story
drags.
the door is open
i'll tell her.
bring me some of that
lasagna you made.
pick up a paper while
you're at it,
and something sweet
for dessert.
if we aren't too tired,
perhaps
we can take a nap.
