it's a sunrise for God's sake

some sunrises

are better than others.

but i don't call anyone up

to tell them,

i don't text,

or email,

or take a picture of the sun

coming up

pink inside

the blue

sky. i don't get all

teary eyed,

and mushy inside.

i don't post it on Facebook,

or Instagram,

or whatever

the hell else is out there.

i just look at it, take in

and go

on about the day.

it's  a sunrise, for God's sake.

get used to it.
