it was
my favorite of all the planets
because
of air, water
and coffee.
i don't give a hoot
about mars.
overrated,
bunch of red sand
blowing around.
venus, pfftt. way too hot
and close
to the sun.
now i'm partial
to saturn.
i doubt anyone could live there.
but it looks friendly
with all those
colorful stripes,
and bands.
all those pretty moons waiting
for someone,
like us,
to land.
