more words,
more love, more interest
in one another.
we want to be thought
of as special.
as the one and only.
we want the heart
carved in the tree,
the initials etched into
stone.
we want the locket
with the picture
tucked inside. and even
then with all of this.
it's not enough.
we are never
satisfied.
