grape vine

it's a grapevine
of sorts,
sisters and brothers
tending
the vine,
where news and information,
gossip
trickles down
in some diluted
and twisted form.
maybe it's true,
maybe not.
I let it in though,
and roll
it around
the box, sift it
for
facts, if any exist,
then nod,
and say, oh isn't that
interesting.
