the wrong size

to keep
the receipts
of everything you
buy.
shirts, shoes,
bikes,
a pair of gloves,
that
were
the wrong size.
but you can't
do that with
love, when
you get it home
and try it
on. sometimes
it doesn't fit,
but you
press on,
awkwardly hoping
for the best.
