after spending an hour
folding laundry
you begin to wonder
why you have some many
shirts and pants
of the same color.
so many socks, so
many sheets and pillow
cases. what makes
you keep buying
things you already
have. blankets
and shoes, hats
and gloves. the list
is endless, which makes
me think of Lucille,
and sarah, lisa,
donna, Debbie,
and you.
