sneezing

it's the pollen
or maybe
a cold,
or maybe it's
that new shag
rug made of wool.
it's the leaves
falling
the cut grass,
the change
of seasons.
it's something
in the air.
something you ate
or drank.
maybe it's your
lipstick
on my lips
that keeps me
sneezing.
that would be
bad, the worst
of all reasons.
