off the list

she's taken me
off her christmas
card list.
her party list,
her go to list
for saturday night.
she's made a
little box
of things i left
behind, a watch,
a book, a coat.
and all of this
will be returned
not soon, but
when the season
of summer deepens,
all in good time.
