always tell, in the waiting
room,
the men
who are yet to be fathers,
and the ones
who are
fathers already,
with three or more kids
long out
of the oven.
the first
group
of men, are pacing.
they look tired and scared.
constantly
looking
at the door for the nurse
or doctor to appear.
while the later
group of men are on their
phones,
placing bets
at the racetrack,
or ordering pizza
for when they get
home.
