woman,
a pillar of the community.
a stellar
role model to the younger
generation.
she goes to church
four times
a week,
ladles soup at the shelter.
her children
are gold,
her grandchildren too.
she preaches
the good word and
exudes love wherever
she goes.
every other word that comes
out of her mouth,
is praise the Lord.
so it's shocking
when she tells me what act
she'll perform on
my father's grave
when he dies.
