sleep walking

she used to walk
in her sleep
and go down
to the corner bar
and meet men.
sometimes she'd
come home to
finish her sleep,
and other times
she wouldn't.
i forgave her
though. she was
asleep. who's to
know what one
does or doesn't
do when in a dream
state. i was asleep
when i married
her and it took
years to awaken.
i'll never fall
asleep like that
again. no, i'm up
all night now.
