the milk party

i can't get the cap

off the carton

of cream

so i give up and throw

it against

the wall,

it explodes in a

splash of milk.

the puddles

are everywhere.

the dog comes in.

the cat.

i open the door

for their friends to join

the party.

i get the cake

out

and have a slice.
