with about four or five
dead people
on social media.
girlfriends and pals
long gone.
i don't have the heart
to delete them,
unfriend them.
i still like seeing their faces.
it's as if they're still
here, a phone call
or drive away.
ready to talk and drink,
have lunch with me.
i hope that
when i'm gone
they'll feel the same way
as i do someday.
