and some ladder work in the stairway.
twenty feet in
the air.
but at home.
i feel like there was more
i could have done,
stayed late.
burned that midnight
oil.
i'm getting lazy in my old
age.
sleep and warm baths are
agreeing with me
more
with each passing day.
