missed calls
on my phone. who are these
people and what do they want.
why don't they leave a message.
i feel like i'm missing out
on something. doing things
with new friends, with people
i am yet to know.
if they'd just leave a message
and a number and a name,
i can call them back and we can
begin our life together.
please don't be shy.
i'm here, i'm waiting by
the phone now. i have time.
