I don't own a white
shirt that doesn't have
a stain on it.
chocolate or coffee.
dribbles.
dots, drops, dollops.
red sauce
and grape nehi.
some are t shirts,
some dress shirts,
starched and ready
on the hanger,
some are white sweaters,
wool,
cotton, or a blend
of polyester
and nylon.
once the drop is on
them, it's over, done.
and back to the store
for more.
