it's easy

what spurs
many writers on
is when they read
something,
whether fiction
or poetry
and say loudly,
I could do that.
it's simple,
it's easy. just
put down in words
how you feel
and let it go
at that.
it's how you got
started.
thinking that
this was easy,
and yes, sometimes
it is, and other
times you have no
idea who you are
or where you're at.
