night trains

give me what you
can i tell her,
parcel out the love,
the affection, the
daily or weekly
dose of contact as
best you can. it's
all that we can do
now. this modern
love at this late
age is a rolling train
with schedules
that run all day,
and when it can pulls
into the station
at night with the
rails hopefully
still hot and willing.
