a white sheet of paper,
a good
writing pen,
and turn the desk light on.
it's time for
my yearly
budget to be made.
what arrives in,
what goes out.
gas, food,
electric,
insurance, mortgage.
miscellaneous expenses,
etc.
it's simpler these days with
one.
no dog,
no wife,
no daughter or son.
no significant other,
not even a plant to tend to.
it's just me now.
so it's no surprise that
i'm in the black again.
