they are feathers,
soft tickles across
a neck,
small
tear drop kisses,
oblique
methods
of getting what one
wants.
they fly
under our radar,
we assume
the best of intentions
in the shape
of gifts laid
forth, unknowing
purposely,
perhaps, what they really
mean.
