clean house

I can't
vacuum fast enough
this dust
and debris that lies
within.
I can't sweep hard
enough,
dig deep
enough into the corners
of my mind
and pull out
the webs, the broken
latches,
the doors
and windows.
I can't toss the junk
far
enough away
to keep it out
of sight,
to keep it from
coming back,
but i'm trying.
good lord i'm trying
and in time,
will succeed.
