the early years
are lean
and fun
wanting, driving.
optimism is found
in a rising sun,
a rain cloud,
a new lover, an old
flame
dying out.
the middle years
put a smile
on your face
fat
and content with your
yard,
wife,
son, dog and cat.
so much to do is done,
now this.
what is this
