beside a frozen lake.
her mattress is on
a wooden floor.
her clothes
are without hangers.
her life
is in stacks,
pyramids of things to
get to, tomorrow never
arriving.
your better half,
is asleep.
but not you, you are
busy
with everything
you've invented
and must do. it's easy
now
to see the difference.
