what makes the man
take his clothes
off and handcuff himself

fence? what has happened
in his life

of insanity.
did his wife leave him,
did he lose his job,
his fortune, did he run
out patience with traffic
and the daily pressures
of life, or did he just
take a look in the mirror
one morning and say,
