and there's
bread
in the oven.
flowers on
the table
in a crystal
vase.
curtains
are hung over
the windows
and there
are vanilla candles
burning.
you see a strange
purse on
on the counter.
a pink umbrella,
a hat,
shoes, and
a dress
on the floor
leading up
the stairs.
there is a drink
poured.
Tanqueray
and tonic
with a slice
of lime. suddenly
music
begins to play
it's the summer
wind
by frank.
you begin to
worry and take
your pulse,
there is none.
heaven is
apparently in
the simple things.
