do we romanticize
what came
before and left
forgetting
why it ended, or
are we completely
out of our minds
sometimes about
all of this mystery,
the answer is
of course, a
resounding yes.

Absinthe can help either way. I always remember it the way Aesop and Son of Rocky and Bullwinkle phrased it, "Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder," which apparently was also used as the title for an episode of Californication. They stole it!
