the yellow ball

a yellow
ball is in your
yard.
a kid must
have kicked it
over the fence.
but the gate
being locked
it couldn't
be retrieved.
you line it
up and drop
it to your foot
which swings
and sends
the yellow ball
high into the trees
where it sticks
between
the branches.
there must be a
moral to this
somewhere.
