vanity

the mirror is
neither kind,
nor unkind, it's
just a pale
reflection of
what the outside
appears to be.
the inside has,
or will take
over, that's
the way it should
have always been
and will be, but
it takes others
longer to realize
that, and by
others i mean
specifically,
vain souls, like
me.
