feathers

there were feathers
everywhere, they couldn't
wait to leave the pillows
that i bought. amazing
feathers that had found
a way out from the thin
soft case they were in.
white feathers, large
and small, slender,
and some thick with
hard ends. i don't know
quite what happened in
the middle of the night
to make this happen,
but i'm hoping that
it happens again
real soon.
