i'm staring down
an eclair at the
moment. it's long
and fat with
bavarian cream,
a deep dark
swath of chocolate
across it's back.
i can see the
layered dough,
like feathers that
make my mouth water.
a sweet cool
pastry on a thin
scalloped sheet
of wrap. i want
to tear into. now.
not later, not
tomorrow, but right
this second.
you have the same
effect on me.
